How long

A letter remains in the mailbox while the question is still open. Write again from the same address if you want the copy we still have removed. A backup copy, or a copy a statute tells us to keep, goes when that reason ends.

Who else sees a letter

Personal details are not sold. The file host and the mail host see only what they need to deliver the page or the letter. A statute that demands a disclosure is followed to the extent it demands.
